​The 5th Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Conference (WLEC2014), held from 1st to 3rd March 2014 at the Royal Benja Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand, deepened the global conversation on women’s leadership, empowerment and education. With a full digital archive of agenda, speakers and proceedings, this edition provided a rich platform for women leaders, scholars and practitioners to share research, engage in interactive discourse and build meaningful professional connections across sectors.

Under the theme of advancing women’s agency and leadership in diverse contexts, WLEC2014 featured case studies, panel discussions and networking sessions aimed at stimulating cross-cultural collaboration and inclusive practices. Participants benefited from a collegial, single-track format and the opportunity to form lasting relationships that extend beyond the conference itself.
